The Driving with License Suspended program helps people regain their licenses while paying off their fines and fees. Many people are eligible for a reduction in their debt, and some may provide community service and/or participate in an educational program in exchange for a reduction in fines and fees owed.
Once a person has successfully completed the Civil DLS program, past civil DLS violations will not count toward more serious criminal charges.
For more information about participating in the Civil DLS program, contact case manager, Jessie Schmidt, 802-685-3172 or email@example.com.
For complete information on the program, you can download the brochure or visit the Vermont Association of Court Diversion Programs.
